A Letter From the Director

As I reflect on my first six months as Executive Director of the Ohio Energy Project (OEP), I am filled with gratitude and excitement for the road ahead. This time has been an incredible journey of learning, collaboration, and strategic planning. I’ve had the privilege of meeting many of you—dedicated educators, passionate students, and our invaluable supporters—and I am continually inspired by the difference OEP makes across Ohio. Together, we’re empowering the next generation with essential energy education.

Transitioning into this role, it has become clear that the strength of our programs comes directly from the generosity of our supporters. Donations have always been the backbone of our success, allowing us to provide engaging, hands-on energy education to schools that need it most. While we’ve been fortunate to secure grants, we rely on individual and corporate donations to continue expanding our impact. Every contribution—large or small—helps us reach more students, spark their curiosity about energy, and prepare them for careers in STEM fields.

One of the best ways you can help us achieve our goals is by joining us at our annual Golf Fore OEP fundraiser. This event is not just a fun day on the greens—it’s a key opportunity for us to raise the necessary funds to fuel our programs. Plus, it’s a great chance to connect with others who share a passion for education and energy. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a beginner, we invite you to come out, enjoy the day, and support a cause that is building brighter futures for Ohio’s students.

I’m excited about what the next few months will bring and look forward to working with all of you to continue OEP’s mission. Let’s make the most of this year and beyond!

Stay Electric!
