Board Structure

General Body

The general body is the full group of YP Board membership. This group meets every other month, either in-person or virtually, and discusses committee work, general OEP updates, and other pertinent topics.

Committees

The YP committees are specialized sub-groups focused on specific topics important to OEP. Every general body member must participate in at least one committee. These committees meet as needed, with certain committees meeting more often during different seasons. Read on to learn more.

Education

The education committee is focused on educating learners all about energy. Ranging from topics grounded in general literacy to topics focused on social dynamics and everything in between, this committee hosts events throughout the year.

Social

The social committee is focused on building community between OEP stakeholders. This committee hosts social events, like happy hours and group outings, to help foster relationships among OEP membership.

Service

The service committee is focused on serving the community on behalf of OEP. From volunteering at community outings to hosting OEP sponsored events, this committee ensures we all do our part to give back.

Fundraising

The fundraising committee is focused on supporting the sustainability efforts at OEP. From building new giving audiences to hosting small-scale events, this committee helps to ensure OEP’s impact is possible year after year.
